The Hincapie Sportswear Performer LT Men's Long Sleeve Jersey is designed for the in-between areas, where something besides a tissue-thin summer jersey and a heavy winter jacket is needed. The Performer's job isn't too make you warm on its own; rather, it's meant to keep cool air off of your body while you warm yourself up, and then to keep you comfortably ventilated and wick moisture after you're warm. The Metric fabric that makes up the Performer LT's entire body takes the gamble out of dressing for rides in cool weather. It's a tightly knit polyester that affords more cool-weather protection than a thin, summer-weight jersey but is still highly wicking to keep you dry. It also straddles the grey area between summer jersey plus warmers and summer jersey plus insulating base layer, so that you won't risk under-dressing or overheating in transitional season conditions. The Performer LT has a full-length zipper, elastic cuffs, a tall collar, and Hincapie's branded Gel-Grip all the way around the hem. These features all combine for a fit that stays in place and provides maximum coverage. Three rear pockets and the invisible but highly appreciated benefit of an SPF of 30 round out the jersey's features.
